Who is EDPCT?
EDPCT is a regional partnership of three growing cities on IH 35 and IH 10. New Braunfels, Seguin, and San Marcos represent diverse communities offering positive business opportunities. By partnering with one another, EDPCT is able to offer an available, well prepared workforce, lower costs to do business, and buildings and sites ready for occupancy.What is CTTC?
New Braunfels Airport is home to the Central Texas Technology Center, a regional workforce training center. Alamo Community College District manages the facility and is the designated training provider for Toyota in the San Antonio area. The CTTC is also a "one-stop-shop" for the Texas Workforce Commission and Local WorkSource Career Centers.If I choose to visit the region, is there someone that can help me visit specific sites?
One of the advantages of EDPCT is the single point of contact for the region. You will receive general information about all three cities. More specific information will be provided for you, as you continue gathering data from individual city economic development experts. Confidentiality is extremely important to EDPCT representatives. Sharing general information is encouraged so that proper details are provided the prospect, but your business information is never given to anyone not involved with our EDPCT members.What recreational opportunities are there in the area?
All types of water recreation is available in the EDPCT area. Lakes, rivers, water park, and a ski ranch are just a few ways to stay cool year round with tubing, rafting, boating, sailing, and fishing. In addition, a world renowned cave and wildlife ranch are minutes from all three cities and the largest outlet mall in Texas is part of the "heart of the EDPCT triangle".What utilities serve the region and what are their rates for industrial and commercial?
The Lower Colorado River Authority, New Braunfels Utilities, Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Guadalupe Blanco River Authority, and Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative provide electrical power to the three cities. Water and wastewater services are provided by the local municipalities. The natural gas service provider is CenterPoint Energy. Utility rates for commercial and industrial users are some of the lowest in Texas. The EDPCT region offers you two (2) international airports: Austin Bergstrom International Airport and the San Antonio International Airport. Each is no more than 45 minutes maximum from any one of the three communities of EDPCT.How do I go about getting started to relocate and what incentives are available to my company?
